    A delightful square octagon shape teal sapphire, of 1.31 cts, from Madagascar. This unheated sapphire has been mounted in all platinum and set with elegant talon claws; a pair of round brilliant cut diamonds, of high grade F colour, VS clarity, are set to the sides.

    Made in a contemporary style, the mount allows for another ring, such as a wedding ring, to sit flush alongside.

    Gemmologist's note: Sapphire, from the gem family Corundum (Al2O3) comes in a variety of colours. Green is hugely popular at the moment, with teal colours being particularly sought after.
