A stunning, unusual raspberry/chocolate sapphire, of 1.11 cts, that is unheated and from Madagascar. The mount has been designed as a contemporary three stone, and is made in platinum with hand-wired 18ct yellow gold claws to complement the fancy sapphire. It is also underwired to allow another ring such as an eternity or wedding ring to sit flush alongside.
A pair of matched emerald-cut diamonds, of F colour, VS clarity, and 0.33ct the pair, have been selected to complement the emerald cut sapphire to make a really unique piece of jewellery.
Gemmologist's note: Sapphire, from the gem family Corundum (Al2O3) is second hardest only to diamond and has been used in fine jewellery for generations for its durability. Found in a range of beautiful colours, from blue to pink to yellow, to green and many colours in between!
